Starting in the 1960’s, David and his sibs, Ezra and Joseph began dealing in arts as teens. Eventually, they cut school to concentrate more of their focus on the Italian Stock Exchange. Within an art exhibition organized by Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler, David and Ezra bought two works of art which caused the camaraderie between Kahnweiler and the two. Eventually, the organizer began selling them works of other renowned artists like Braque, Gris and Picasso.
