Jeffrey Lurie Net Worth $12 Billion

Lurie made most of his bundle in the film production business. Since purchasing the Eagles in 1994, Lurie’s turned them into consistent winners playing to sellout crowds at state-of-the-art Lincoln Field, which carried a $140 million naming rights deal. Lurie bought the Philadelphia Eagles on May 6, 1994 from then-owner Norman Braman for $195 million. Forbes valued the team at $1.1 billion as of 2010. His corporation did not make any hit successes, but became successful supervising production of pictures made by much bigger companies. The organization also produces television commercials. On February 27, 2011, the Lurie-produced documentary film, Inside Job, won an Academy Award for the best documentary film.
