Lindsey Vonn Bio/Wiki 2017

She’s best recognized for winning four World Cup Championships while racing with all the United States Ski Team. Lindsey Caroline Kildow Vonn was produced on October 18, 1984 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Vonn’s dad, Alan Lee Kildow, won a national junior title before being injured and pushed Vonn to ski in age two. Vonn says a meeting with skier Picabo Street when the former was just 10 years old made a huge impression on her and she’d continue to look to Street as a mentor for many years in the future. Vonn continued to attend high school via a web-based program together with the University of Missouri.

Although Vonn was badly injured in the 2013 World Championships, she said she’d prepare yourself for the 2014 Olympics. Vonn wed fellow Olympian Thomas Vonn in 2007 but was divorced in 2013.
