She grew up as a ballet dancer as well as a cheerleader. Neal subsequently attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia but left school after a couple of years. She went to The Big Apple where she got roles in musical theater, and it has traveled the world with various touring companies. Her expertise led her in a simple transition into advertisements which eventually brought her to La. Elise got the part of Janice Sinclair in the ABC soap opera Loving which made her a household name. She’s also famous for playing the part of Yvonne Hughley on The Hughleys and Jill Cooper on Belles. She made her movie debut in Malcom X but had her first starring role in John Singleton’s Rosewood.
